About the Company:
Traction Business Solutions was established in January 2011 when the company’s founders John Kennedy and Paul Hanna started developing SalesTraction, a simple web based system for helping struggling SMEs with their sales and marketing.
Long term, John and Paul want to develop a portfolio of business tools that will enable TBS to become a significant global organisation. The tools will help and support SMEs with all of their trading functions and this feeds directly into the company’s mission:
We want to make it easier for owners to set up, run and improve their businesses.
“We are not merely in the business of making and selling software. We believe that our business tools will provide the SME market with simple cost effective solutions to key problem areas such as sales, marketing, accounts and credit control.
We will continue to put our energy, focus and resources into discovering and implementing new technologies and practices that will enable us to provide solutions to current business problems rather than looking for a market for what we produce.”
About the Product:
SalesTraction is a simple cloud-based system that lets you store all your contacts in one secure place and view the full history of your relationships.
You can easily create a sales campaign using different elements such as email, letter and SMS. SalesTraction will work relentlessly for you behind the scenes to get you more customers while you get on with running your business
SalesTraction is an automated sales and marketing software system that helps you acquire more customers and sell more to your existing customers in a simple but very effective way.
If you are too busy to focus on your sales, struggling to find new customers or if you have a sales person or team and you need to improve their performance, SalesTraction is the easier way to achieve your sales goals.
SalesTraction’s automated marketing functionality enables you to promote and sell your products and services to potential customers for free or very low cost – in an automated way. Through the use of pre-set campaigns the system will automatically send emails, letters and SMS’s to your prospects to nurture them to sale without you having to take any action – SalesTraction is the easier way to do promotion and sales effectively.
SalesTraction has been designed by sales and marketing experts who have taken strategies that are proven to work and incorporated them into a simple but highly effective piece of automated software that is designed to drive your sales.
Coaching is one of our unique selling points – SalesTraction monitors your sales activity, identifies performance problems, works out the cause and then recommends the steps you need to take to make improvements.

O.K., full disclosure, Andy Zoltners was a professor of mine at Northwestern. Sure, I still like the guy. But these are great books. I wish that I had them when I was a sales manager!
