What is Sudo?
Sudo is is an automated, smart sales assistant. It is a bot that lives in Slack, and connects to your email, calendar, phone calls, and CRM system in order to make updating your CRM system completely effortless. Sales people love Sudo because it saves them time, and reduces all the administrative BS they have to do. Sales leaders love Sudo because it helps them get complete, accurate, and rich data in their CRM.

How Sudo will help you
Every time Sudo sees a relevant contact in your inbox or calendar, it will check if that contact is already in your CRM. If not, it will enrich that contact with any information it can find (Title, Phone #, etc.) and ping you with a message like the one above. If you click Add Contact, it will create the contact in your CRM. If you click Don’t Add, it will remember that selection (so it doesn’t ask you about that contact again), and will also give you the option to mark that entire company as “not relevant”. Once you add a contact to your CRM, Sudo will start tracking all of your activities related to that contact.
Logging your meetings
Every time Sudo sees a relevant meeting in your calendar, it will automatically log that meeting as an activity in your CRM, tied to the correct account/opportunity/lead. From there, you can:
- Add notes from your meeting (either as text or as an attachment)
- Create a follow up task for that account or contact
- Delete the activity if either it wasn’t relevant or it never happened (rescheduled, no-show, etc.)
Managing your tasks
Sudo helps you make sure you never drop the ball. First, you can tell Sudo any time to create a reminder for you. For example:
When the task is due, Sudo will send you a reminder in Slack, and you can mark it complete right from there.
Searching for information
Sudo makes it incredibly fast and simple to pull up information about anything in your CRM system. Just type show me and the name of the record you want to see information about. For example:
From there you can take actions on that record (create tasks, add notes, call, etc.).

This app immediately jumped out at me as an amazing solution that could have a profound positive impact on many sales folks! They are still getting up to full speed, but we will all have to keep an eye on Sudo.ai!
