There seems to be some misconception as to what an “Outlook-Base CRM System” is: SalesOutlook CRM is desiged to extend Outlook features and functions without impairing the original functionality of MS Outlook. Any Outlook-Based CRM should use all features of MS-Outlook & MS-Exchange Server for synchronization and sharing data for a Multi-User System.
By contrast, some Outlook CRM vendors use MS-Outlook only as the User Interface and then branch out to their own external SQL database and applications. The extra SQL Database and External Software Program adds complexity to the installation process and unfavorably impacts the usability of all other applications on your PC. A truely Oultook-Based CRM System should only require MS-Outlook and Exchange Server to share data among all CRM-users within your organization.

SalesOutlook CRM is a very simple “Plug-In” for Microsoft Outlook that downloads into each User’s PC in less than 8-Minutes. Then you simply restart MS-Outlook and you’re up and running! The customer database is contained in a set of “Folders” that will be copied to either a Shared Mailbox or the Public Folders on your In-House or Hosted MS-Exchange Server in order to “Automatically Synchronize” the Customer Data for each user. This capability makes the SalesOutlook System is the ONLY Outlook-Based CRM System that does not require a dedicated MS-SQL Server Database to store your customer database!
