The MarketMeSuite™ Story
It all started on Google Talk from one side of the pond to the other. Dynamic New Yorker & marketing powerhouse, Tammy Kahn Fennell, and mild-mannered, tech genius Alan Hamlyn were working remotely on a client project. Each had their own business at the time, Alan a Web Design firm and Tammy a small e-commerce store.
Tammy, already long on board the social media bandwagon, told Alan she could use social media to dramatically grow his customer base. True to form, Alan was a little skeptical and needed convincing. So, I guess you could say MarketMeSuite was born out of Tammy’s eagerness to demonstrate the benefits of social media marketing and Alan’s eagerness to reap its promised rewards. Lo and behold, it worked!
Both were convinced that they could make social media marketing easy, affordable and effective for lots of other small businesses. That’s when MarketMeSuite went into development.
MarketMeSuite has since grown from 3 people (plus an intern who was paid in turkey sandwiches) to 7 people and counting. We also changed countries, moving from the UK to Cambridge, MA in early 2012. And, best of all, today over 30,000 small businesses rely on MarketMeSuite for their social media monitoring, management and, most of all, marketing.
